Just For Fun!

I know I'm a dork, but this is one of my favorite facebook applications (yes, I too am addicted to facebook)...

It's called (Lil) Green Patch and supposedly it is helping to "save the rainforest" through a sponsorship. More details here: http://www.nature.org/joinanddonate/adoptanacre/about/

Greeley Fans: Not to Worry

Greeley Estates, this week, posted on myspace that fans shouldn't "worry" if they don't see their cities listed with the rest of the tour dates on the band's myspace. The band insists that it will continue to post additional tour dates throughout its stint on Warped Tour this summer.

Anecdote: Wondering where the name "Greeley Estates" comes from? I was...but the answer is somewhat of a letdown. "It's actually a road sign in Colorado, in Greeley, Colorado," vocalist Ryan Zimmerman told Fourteeng.net back in 2006, "It's just kind of random, it really has no meaning, none of us are from Colorado. We just saw it even before we srarted the band and we remembered it when we started the band so..."

Rockers Go GLAM

Glamour Kills, clothing line and sponsor of bands such as Houston Calls and Say Anything, recently unveiled its new summer line. Almost all of the shirts are unisex (and really rad). Click here to check out the new line...and buy me something.

I want that hoodie!

Little Boxes Made of Ticky-Tacky

If you're anything like me, you were thrilled for the season premiere of Weeds on Monday. I started seeing all the billboards around Los Angeles two weeks ago; and since then I reminded my boyfriend to please record it for me about ten times (which he did; thanks, baby!).

A
nyway, those of you avid Weeds watchers, like me, should be familiar with the Shows' tradition of having a different artist record the theme song "Little Boxes" for every episode. As of yesterday an album of ten different versions of the song, including recordings by Rise Against, Billy Bob Thornton and Randy Newman is available on itunes and at weedsmusic.com. Expect a follow up, as the album is aptly named Dime Bag #1.
