The Red Hot Chili Peppers have filed a lawsuit against the Showtime original series, Californication, according to RollingStone.com. The band has both an album and a song, released in 1999, by the name "Californication" and claim that the show (produced by David Duchovny) stole the name from it.If anyone else thinks like me, they thought of Red Hot Chili Peppers as soon as they heard about this show's existence.
