Greeley Fans: Not to Worry

Anecdote: Wondering where the name "Greeley Estates" comes from? I was...but the answer is somewhat of a letdown. "It's actually a road sign in Colorado, in Greeley, Colorado," vocalist Ryan Zimmerman told Fourteeng.net back in 2006, "It's just kind of random, it really has no meaning, none of us are from Colorado. We just saw it even before we srarted the band and we remembered it when we started the band so..."

Little Boxes Made of Ticky-Tacky

Anyway, those of you avid Weeds watchers, like me, should be familiar with the Shows' tradition of having a different artist record the theme song "Little Boxes" for every episode. As of yesterday an album of ten different versions of the song, including recordings by Rise Against, Billy Bob Thornton and Randy Newman is available on itunes and at weedsmusic.com. Expect a follow up, as the album is aptly named Dime Bag #1.
